Your first name and, optionally, surname; the email address you provide to receive your result; and your answers to the 15-question assessment. If you purchase a report, we record that a purchase happened (not your card details, payment is handled by a processor, not stored by us directly). If you invite a partner or family member, we record their email address so we can send them the invitation, and, once they accept, their own derived design (not their raw answers) for the shared report. If you submit a question through our support form, we store your name, email, and message. If you tell us an area of life you'd like to explore further, or ask us directly for coaching support, we record that against your profile, together with your name and email if you submit a coaching request, so it's identifiable to us, not anonymous.
Your first name lets us address you personally in emails about your own reports, rather than treating every email address as if it were one person, since a parent and child may legitimately share an address. Your assessment answers are used to calculate your Design Profile and generate your reports. Your email is used to deliver your result and any report you purchase, to send a secure personal link so you can return to your reports later, and, only if you separately and explicitly opt in via an unticked checkbox, a short follow-up email series. Ticking that box is never required to receive your result or any purchased report.
Where you tell us on your report page which area of life you'd like to explore further, we use that to understand what our customers are actually asking for, held against your own profile rather than as an anonymous count. Where you specifically ask for coaching support, we also use the name, email, and message you provide to contact you directly about it. Either way, our team receives an internal email notification when you do this, so a real person sees it and can follow up. Neither of these actions signs you up for the follow-up email series or any other marketing, that stays governed entirely by the separate, unticked consent checkbox described above, and is never triggered just because you clicked an area of interest or asked for coaching.
Your reports are accessed through a unique, secure link containing a randomly generated access token. We don't use passwords or accounts, so you can return to your reports without remembering another login.
Where a report involves a child, the parent or guardian who initiates the family journey remains the primary contact for the service. The child does not create an account or provide an email address directly to Lead from Design. Their assessment responses are used to generate their individual Design Read and, where applicable, contribute to the shared Family Dynamic Insight. Communications about the family journey are sent to the parent or guardian.
We don't sell your information. We don't share your individual answers or identity with any third party for their own marketing.
We keep your profile, reports, and any interest or coaching requests for as long as your relationship with Lead from Design is active, which for a product like this means indefinitely unless you ask us to remove it. Email us at hello@myleadfromdesign.com and we'll delete your personal information, keeping only what we're required to for legitimate business records, such as a basic purchase record for accounting.
You can unsubscribe from the optional email series at any time via the link in any email we send. This never affects your access to any report you've purchased, which arrives through a separate, transactional email regardless of your marketing preference. You can also ask us, at any time, what we hold about you or to have it deleted, see "How long we keep it" above.
Send us a question through our contact page, or email us directly at hello@myleadfromdesign.com.
